To obtain the degree, the student completes 36 units (including 6 units of master's thesis), a refereed publication and where relevant to the thesis, proof of language proficiency.
A full-time student must enroll in at least 9 units per semester.
A part-time student may only enroll in at most 6 units per semester.
*When necessary, the student will have to show proof of language proficiency to enroll in History 300; the thesis research problem of the student will determine whether or not the student will be required to take language course(s) and show proof of proficiency. The College of Arts and Communication of UP Baguio offers foreign and local language courses, and may certify proof of proficiency.
